Customer Relationship Management in the Digital Economy
Main Article Content
Abstract
This study explores customer relationship management in the digital economy through a multidimensional commerce perspective. It addresses the relationship between business decisions, changing markets, stakeholder behaviour and the institutional environment, with particular attention to Indian conditions. The discussion considers emerging opportunities and practical constraints while indicating areas for continued research and responsible management. The analysis of Customer Relationship Management in the Digital Economy also recognises that commercial change creates both possibilities and implementation questions. Opportunities related to efficiency, customer engagement, innovation and market development need to be considered alongside organisational readiness, resource constraints and responsible management. The discussion consequently focuses on the conditions under which businesses can respond effectively while maintaining operational continuity and stakeholder confidence. This approach provides a broader basis for understanding the relevance of the subject to contemporary Indian commerce and for identifying meaningful directions for further academic and managerial inquiry.
